Well Done! Aiming for Higher Levels of Learning

We’ve chosen this year to talk about something that we all know so well: the power of praising in learning. So why would we choose a topic that isn’t new to anyone? Simply because we find that everybody knows this, but nobody makes use of it – or at least not to its full potential.

Lots of studies indicate the same thing: that learning is stronger with a positive feeling inside, even down to the point where people learn better simply because they are sitting next to pictures or paintings that give them a pleasant feeling. It may though be difficult to always keep this in mind when there is so much good stuff that we want our trainees to know and we think that they should be told all the “points that need improvement”!

During our presentation we’ll use various studies to back up what you already know and we’ll then give you some examples of how the power of praising can be taken even further in a learning environment.
