Angela Gallorini, CC Expert, EASA
Angela joined EASA in 2009 and holds a university degree in political and social sciences.
She worked for the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) in Stockholm for one year, and three years for the European Commission in Italy.
Angela has approximately sixteen years experience as a cabin crew member (1990-2006), ten of which as a purser for a long haul Italian charter/scheduled flight airline. During this period she experienced working with mixed aircrews from European, Middle Eastern and African air carriers (wet leasing in and out).
She is currently training as a cabin crew expert.
Gerda Pardatscher, Senior Expert Flight Crew Licensing, EASA
Before joining the Agency I gained experience in aviation in the following fields:
• Manager for personnel licensing at Austro Control GmbH (CAA of Austria)
• As the Austrian member of the Licensing Sectorial Team at the Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA) I was involved in the drafting of the latest amendments of JAR-FCL 1, 2 and 3 and acted as the national co-ordinator for the FCL.
• As the Austrian member of the Standardisation Team for FCL at the JAA and EASA Standardisation team for FCL I gained experience during standardisation visits to other CAAs.
• Before joining the Austrian CAA I worked for SWISS international airlines in the Flight Ops department where I was responsible for pilot’s administration (Licences, Medicals, Training) and in the training department of a regional airline (Crossair, Basel/CH) which provided ab initio pilot training, type-rating training for Saab 340, Saab 2000, AVRO RJ, MD 80 and Embraer 145 and cabin crew training.
Academic background: University studies in European Economics with a focus on European law and the languages English and French.
Pilot licence held: PPL(A) SEP(land)
